Film photography is widely considered for it’s aesthetics, and look. While that’s an important factor, the process of shooting film forces the photographer to slow down and consider the look of the shot before capturing the image. It’s a way of working slower and more intentionally.

Last year I committed myself to shooting more photo so I didn’t get to too as much video as I would’ve liked but in the end I’m thrilled with some of the projects I got to work on. Featuring a lot of burlesque (shocker to everyone I’m sure).
2024 was a hoot! I got to work with some excellent folks which has meant the world to me. While doing it I had some extra credit including: Moving across the country, buying a new car, starting a new job, flying around the US for work and most importantly having a new member of our family! What can I say except thank you all for the support as always! See you in 2025

The talented @nielslandoky and I had the wonderful opportunity to create some portraits together. If anything is true, it is that Niels is a true creative and is always willing to try whatever weird lighting setups and ideas I throw at him. We were both very inspired by old jazz records and the aesthetic of black and white portraitures which birthed these photos and a few others which I’ll keep under wraps for now. A quick trip to the lake and one catfish later. Virginia has been so rewarding. I’ve had a chance to reset, spend some time in nature, and reconnect. The wildlife out here is like nothing else I’ve seen, especially coming from Vegas. I find myself constantly stopping to look at the birds, trees, and waterways, occasionally grabbing some pictures. I’m told the first bird is a cormorant and the second is a snowy egret.
